2 lbs. country style pork ribs sauce
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
4 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
1/2 tsp. dry mustard(mild or hot)
1 tsp. celery salt


Preheat oven to 425F

lay ribs in shallow 13x9 or larger pan, roast at 425F for 30 min.

In the meantime make sauce:
Saute onion, pepper and celery in the oil till soft
add all other ingredients .

simmer for around 20 minutes .

Pour sauce over ribs after the 30 min. roasting period
Reduce oven to 325 and roast for 1-1/2 - 2 hours.

Servce over hot buttered noodles.

To keep ribs from drying out while roasting - from time to time spoon sauce over the ribs while roasting.
