Ingredients

1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
1/2 cup dates, chopped
2 T honey
1 t ground ginger to taste
1/4 t cumin
1/4 t ground cloves
3 T toasted sesame seeds
3 T dry red wine
juice and zest from ½ orange


Directions

Combine all ingredients and cover tightly. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.

Wonderful recipe. I modified slightly, used less sesame seeds, about 1 Tbsp, used less honey made made up for some sweetness using sweet kosher red wine instead of the dry. I have also made a version that added raisins. This is versatile, just a bit different, and very delicious.
