Simple. Elegant. Delicious. (And if you happen to be in Israel, strawberries are even in season - and cheap - this time of year!) Ingredients4 bars bittersweet chocolate2 baskets of strawberries |

DirectionsWash each strawberry and dry gently with a dishtowel. Leave the stems in tact.Melt the bars in a double boiler, being careful not to scorch the chocolate. Remove from heat after fully melted. Holding strawberry delicately by stem, dip each one into the chocolate. Leave a small, clean margin around the stem. Place on waxed paper to dry. Variations: Use half white chocolate, half bittersweet. Melt in two separate pots and then experiment with your dipping to create colorful designs. Sprinkle dipped, but not yet dried, strawberries with chocolate shavings or sprinkles. |
