This popular dessert pizza make 4th of July festive with strawberries and blueberries. Serve it for dessert and set off some real fireworks!

Ingredients

1/2 c butter, softened
3/4 c white sugar
1 egg
11/4 c all-purpose flour
1 t cream of tartar
1/2 t baking soda
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese
1/2 c white sugar
2 t vanilla extract
1 pint strawberries, hulled and halved
1 pint blueberries


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and 3/4 cup of sugar until smooth. Add in the egg. Combine the flour, cream of tartar and baking soda; add to the butter mixture until just blended. Press the dough into an ungreased pizza pan and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool completely.

Meanwhile, beat cream cheese with remaining sugar and vanilla until light and airy. Spread over cooled crust.

Arrange strawberries and blueberries in concentric circles. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I've been searching all over the internet for a simple red white and blue dessert pizza recipe. You even allowed me to print the recipe using just one page of paper. Not 5 like another website. On the other website, I got mostly ads and extra stuff and the short recipe on two separate pages. Yuck. I love your website! I will come back!
