The ultimate comfort food Ingredients1 1/4 lb white potatoes, peeled and cut into ½-inch pieces1/4 c milk 6 large cloves, crushed 1/4 c whipping crème 1/2 stick butter at room temperature |

DirectionsPlace potatoes in medium saucepan. Cover with water and add milk and garlic. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 25 minutes or until potatoes are very tender.Drain potatoes and garlic, reserving 1/4 cup of liquid. Return potatoes to the same pan and add cream and butter. Mash until smooth. Thin with reserved liquid, if required. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
